Registered Veterinary Nurse

The Role
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Nurse to join O’Shea & Bramley & Breen Veterinary Hospital!

You will be expected to perform general nursing duties as well as assisting our veterinary surgeons during surgery, administering medication, advising owners on pet welfare, all whilst working as part of a team.
Your shifts would cover 40 hours over 4.5 days per week. You will also work half day 1:6 out of hours.

The Salary will be up to 31,200 depending on experience.

About Us
We are based in Wexford in the southeast of Ireland, we are a purpose-built practice and have all modern equipment, we encourage CPD and want our nurses to practice their nursing here alongside a great support team. Wexford is a vibrant bustling town, but if you are looking for relaxation there are plenty of local beaches from Curracloe with some amazing walks, there really is something for everyone here!

We are a team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Veterinary Nurses and we have 9 Support Team members. We work closely with the local W.S.P.C.A and run charity events every year to support them.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team. Our ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. We have the ability to support a second-year student and actively encourage CPD.
