Job Details
The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a registered veterinary nurse to join our well-established Scunthorpe team.
We strive to provide friendly and personal care to our patients and offer a comprehensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities to ensure the highest levels of care are provided to our patients.
We have an excellent team and aim to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and patients. Your role will be working as part of a team that supports in theatre, provides inpatient care, and carries out consults, admissions, and discharges.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role (up to a year) working 40 hours per week with 1:6 weekends and a share of bank holidays and on-call. There may also be an opportunity for a permanent role once the fixed term is up. Part-time applications will be considered.
Salary package of up to £22,670 PA, including:

The Scunthorpe practice has 3 consult rooms, a separate dog and cat ward, a prep room, a digital x-ray, and a lab with in-house blood machines and theatre.
Scunthorpe is located in North Lincolnshire just off the M180 and M18 motorways allowing easy transport links to the Lincolnshire Wolds, Hull, Doncaster, Lincoln, and York. It is a bustling town with restaurants, a cinema, shopping parks, and many other activities.
For those who enjoy the country air and long walk, Scunthorpe is a stone's throw away from the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the highest land between Kent and Yorkshire. In the Wold, there are many quaint market villages with plenty of independent shops and history to explore.
To the East, there is the popular seaside resort of Cleethorpes with many traditional seaside restaurants and activities, the boating lake, The Jungle Zoo, and Cleethorpes Light Railway.
