The role:

Are you a veterinary surgeon comfortable with working nights? Would you like three of every four weeks off? We are looking for a night vet interested in ECC to join us at our 24-hour hospital in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

You will be responsible for dealing with all out-of-hour care within both the hospital and the surrounding Medivet clinics alongside a dedicated night RVN and have support from twilight staff

 is a permanent, part-time role on a 7 on 21 off rota working an average of 24.5 hours a week over the month?

Annualised salary package up to £45,869 PA, including:

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS. Due to the nature of this role confidence in working in sole charge, and interest in ECC would be beneficial.

Branch:

The Alfreton Hospital is based in Derbyshire, close to the Peak District, and is the main Hub for the Nottingham region Medivet practices. The team is led by the two Branch Partners and includes certificate holders in surgery and cardiology, plus vets studying medicine, surgery, ECC, and ophthalmology.
