Clinical Director

The Role

GP Vets in Basingstoke have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join their friendly team! You will oversee the clinical running of the practice and take part in mentoring our less experienced vets. If you are an experienced vet who has previous leadership experience, ready to take the next step in your career, this role is perfect for you!

We are passionate about our staff having an excellent work/life balance, we offer a flexible, full-time shift pattern which can be discussed further at interview stage. There is a shared Saturday morning rota but no out-of-hours requirement.

The salary for this role is up to £75,000 depending on experience.

About Us

GP Vets is a friendly and progressive practice based in Basingstoke, we have excellent transport links to London and the beautiful South Coast and New Forest. We are well established in the area and have a loyal client base. Our team prides itself in giving a stellar service to our clients and to help us do that we are equipped with purpose-built facilities, including diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, full surgical facilities, monitoring, and in-house lab machines. Our close-knit team is made up of 2 full-time vets, 6 experienced registered veterinary nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, and a hard-working reception team – all supported by our fantastic practice manager. We also have a visiting peripatetic orthopod when required. Our team would like a clinical director who is capable of delivering high-quality and personable veterinary care and has the strong values of the team at heart.
