We are looking for a dedicated and driven experienced registered veterinary nurse to join our team at Quarrington as we progress the practice to a 24 hour hospital.

You will be able to work on your own or as part of a team and to be able to use your own initiative. You’ll have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

The practice has a good caseload both medical and surgical. You will help support SVN's, PCA's and CCA's within the team. There is an opportunity to be a clinical coach supporting SVN's within the region. 

The purpose-built practice in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, is a perfect opportunity for a veterinary nurse who would like to be a key player in helping it develop and grow into the 24 hour Medivet hub practice for the area.

This is a permanent, full-time position, covering 40 hours per week and 1:4 weekends however we are open to part-time applicants.

Salary up to £24,565 PA

Key accountabilities:

You will be an experienced member of the team helping with all aspects of theatre, medical nursing, nurse clinics therefore you will need to be competent and confident. You will need to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered veterinary nurse with the RCVS and hold a clean, full driving license.

Branch:

Medivet Quarrington is a lovely purpose-built practice, with large prep and theatre areas which consist of 2 dedicated sterile theatres, a non-sterile theatre and a dedicated X-ray room. They have separate dog, cat and exotic ward.

The practice is well equipped with the hope we can expand to CT or MRI in the future.

We have a lovely, supportive team who are very dedicated to moving the practice forward. The team consists of 3 vets, a head nurse, a student nurse, registered nurses, patient care assistants and a client care assistant.
