Registered Veterinary Nurse

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. Day to day duties include all aspects of nursing including theatre, inpatient care, nurse clinics, in-house laboratory tests and more! We are looking for a passionate nurse to provide an excellent level of customer and patient care. Full or part-time hours considered Monday to Friday with Saturday's worked on a rota basis (shift 8am - 5pm). Variable shift patterns Monday to Friday between 7am and 7.30pm. We are closed on Sunday's and Bank Holiday's and there are no out of hours or on-call duties, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

About Us
We are a long-established practice in central Peterborough with well-equipped facilities. We have a large and loyal client base having been established since 1949. We have a supportive team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a receptionist/support team plus a sister practice in Hampton Hargate, Peterborough which opened in 2003. Our facilities include digital x-rays, ultrasound machine, Idexx in house blood analysis machines and laboratory equipment. We are a training practice for student nurses. We are based in the city centre of Peterborough, with easy parking on site and close to the mainline train station.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our friendly team. Good communication skills are essential, a great work ethic and the ability to use your own initiative and also work well in a team. The ideal candidate would have a passion for all aspects of general nursing.
