100% small animal, independent practice, mainly dogs and cats with some exotic caseload.
Long established practice, we aim to offer a good quality, good value and friendly service to our clients. Lots of support staff [too many according to our accountant]. We still do our own OOH-on a one in four rota, usually not too busy and there is always a nurse on site to help and take the phones. Nice mixture of clients, usually appreciative of our efforts.

In the town centre of Darlington, a market town in County Durham/North Yorkshire, lots of local places to go and easy access to coast, countryside and nearby cities. Good transport links including a local airport.
Full time vet, job entails a mixture of consults and ops, occasional house visits. We do as much as we can in house but have access to local referral centres. ‘Normal’ day is 830-530, bit longer if you are the night duty vet. Duties are equally shared. Mixture of 10 and 20 minute appointments. One set week day off per week. Weekends-one full weekend [Saturday and Sunday] and one half weekend [Friday night and Saturday morning] every four weeks.
Ideally you would have some experience but we have enough senior staff to help with a new graduate. Good communication skills, flexible, tolerant
