We are seeking a friendly, dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse to work in our Ashton under lyne 24 hour clinic

The ideal candidate will be confident with general anaesthesia and nursing medical and surgical patients. A client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills is a must, alongside the ability to work to a high standard.

Being a busy hospital there are lots of opportunities to develop your skills in areas of nursing that you may not have done before, for example nursing patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery. We would like someone with experience working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes.

Salary and hours

This role is 5 days a week with a share of weekend working with equal time back in lieu and a share of the bank holidays with time back too.

Salary up to £27,000 dependent on experience 

£300 CPD allowance is also designed to drive your progress with 2-days CPD leave

RCVS, VDS and BVNA membership paid

Skills and experience:

We are looking for a qualified registered veterinary nurse with small animal experience, ideally with clinical coach experience or a desire to train and develop others and potentially become a clinical coach in the future however this is not essential. 

Branch:

Ashton under lyne is a  24 hour practice and is the main centre in the region providing 24 hour care for our surrounding clinics.

The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors, endoscopy, laparoscopy, video otoscope, in house blood machines, separate night team for 24 hour care on site.
