We have an exiting opportunity at our Whitchurch Practice in Shropshire for a full time Head Registered Veterinary Nurse
Strong mentorship and support will be available to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your role. You will have the opportunity form part of a community of Head nurses, a platform which activity promotes the sharing of ideas and suggestions with other head nurses within the region.
Clinical coach experience would be desirable, with a passion to support and develop future student nurses whilst leading by example. You will be fully supported within your move and we will offer full management training through our dedicated in-house Head Veterinary Nurse development program.
As a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in patient welfare and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Just as important are the leadership skills essential to enabling your team to work as one and look ahead to see how they can be even better.
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week with 1:3 Saturdays working at both our Wem and Whitchurch branch.

Branch:
Our Whitchurch branch is in the northernmost market town in Shropshire sitting on the borders of south Cheshire and Wales. The town is in a beautiful countryside setting 20 miles from Shrewsbury, Chester and Wrexham.
The practice itself it a converted house with separate cat/dog kennels, a new ultrasound, two consulting rooms, a large prep room and separate theatre. This is an exciting time to join the team as the practice is lined up for a full refurbishment and re-brand this year. The practice is looking for a head nurse to work alongside our friendly team of two RVN's, two student nurses a lead vet and two part time vets.
