VetFinders are recruiting for our client in the Central belt of Scotland for an experienced OOH’s Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a wonderful group of practices in beautiful Scotland.

About the practice:

As a co-operative venture between local practices, the aim is to provide quality ECC to the patients of the local practices outside of normal working hours without having to travel far.

The practices are fast paced, forward thinking, and established, with an excellent reputation within the community. It focuses on development and boosts excellent facilities and a great team environment.  

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, OOH’s Veterinary Surgeon, skilled and experienced in general consults and surgery, in a small animal, first opinion practice. This role will be to cover the OOH’s care across 13 practices across central belt in Scotland, Falkirk area.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. As sole charge will be required.

The shifts required are flexible but would be roughly: 4 weeknight shifts (6.30pm to 8am) per 2 weeks - possibly over 1 week then the next week off or split across the two weeks. Working part of every other weekend. This cover starts 12pm Saturday and finishes 8am Monday.

A team of experience RVNs, work on rota also to support the OOH Vet, at all times whilst on shift.
