Job Details

About us

We are one of the largest veterinary practices within Essex and north-east London. Our mission is to provide compassionate and high-quality care for our pets and their families. And because of this, Animal Ark’s loyal client base has continued to grow.

Your role and responsibilities

Animal Ark is a continuously evolving, multi vet practice in Goodmayes Essex and we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to help deliver a high standard of veterinary care to all of our patients.

This practice has an established and generous support staff team and we are currently a nine vet practice with each vet bringing their own set of skills to the team.

We have a wide range of equipment: direct radiography, ultrasound, dental radiographs, endoscopy equipment, laparoscopy, large in house lab, k laser, hydrotherapy, a modern consult building with separate cat and dog waiting rooms, a separate hospital building that is soon to go under refurbishment to allow multiple theatres and both indoor and outdoor staff areas to enjoy your lunch breaks.

Our clients are dedicated and bonded and want the highest quality people to be looking after their pets. They want diagnoses rather than drugs and are advocates for the practice which is long-established in the area. We currently provide 24-hour provisions on-site and have nurses on-site 24 hours.

We provide a working environment which is busy, stimulating and well managed. We encourage team members to work to the best of their ability, supporting them with development of skills and ambitions, and encouragement to embrace new responsibilities and thereby take an active role in their career progression – to become a master of their profession.

Minimum experience: 1-2 years in a similar role, being a Clinical Coach desirable but not necessary as the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to become a coach.
