Veterinary Surgeon

The Role
Here at North Weald Vets, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The role will involve mainly carrying out consultations and surgery. There will be some periods of being in sole charge but mostly it will be working as part of a team

The rota involves flexible working days and shift patterns (all negotiable). No out of hours. It also includes 1 in 5 Saturday morning clinics from 8.30am to 12pm.

About Us
North Weald Vets is in a great location in South Essex providing countryside views to the rear of the practice and in the surrounding areas. We are based just a 10-minute drive to the end of the Central Line for easy access into central London. The practice has full Idexx in-house blood machines, digital x-rays, ultrasound machine, a new microscope, and much more. We try to provide friendly personal care for our clients and their pets.

Our team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons (2 full time, 2 part time), 5 qualified Nurses, 3 Student Nurses and a full-time receptionist. We have a Vet with a keen interest in orthopaedics and one part-time vet with an interest in medicine cases as well as 2 all-rounders!

Applicant Requirements
Our ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high standard of clinical care, and works well within a team environment. Some experience is preferred with an ability to perform most routine soft tissue procedures and be confident with some periods of sole charge.
