The Role

Here at Kingfisher Veterinary Practice, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to carry out duties according to the standards and policies laid down by the RCVS. The role will also include providing high standards of care and welfare to our patients.

The rota will be 37.5 hours per week to include 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Out of Hours are 1 in 10 for both weekends and weeknights. The shift patterns are 8.30am-5pm, 10-6.30pm. The successful candidate may be asked to cover other centres at our Taunton, Chard and Martock Branches when required.

About Us
We are a long established 4 Branch Small Animal Practice based in sunny South Somerset near to the beautiful Dorset Jurassic coast. All Surgeries are Modern and well-equipped RCVS Tier 2 first opinion practice with some referral orthopaedic work. Nurse Clinics are run at all branches on a daily basis and CPD is encouraged and funded.

Across all Centres we have 12 Vets, 20 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 10 receptionists and 4 support staff. We have Certificate holders in SA Medicine, ophthalmology and SA Surgery as well as a Visiting Orthopaedic Vet.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and someone who has a passion for ensuring patients have the best quality care. You must have a RCVS qualification in Veterinary Nursing and a full driving license.
