An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent veterinary surgeon, either studying towards or already a certificate holder in surgery to join our team at our busy 24 hour hospital.​

The successful applicant should be confident in soft tissue surgeries, ideally have laparoscopic/ endoscopic surgery experience in addition to being comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations.​

Looking for a motivated, enthusiastic vet who is driven and ambitious to continue to develop their own clinical skill set and knowledge. Someone who enjoys mentoring, sharing their knowledge and experience with others and​leads by example.​

Excellent communication skills to offer exceptional client service and contribute to the overall success of the practice.​

The surgeon works alongside a team  of Hospital Veterinary Surgeons in addition to our regional branch Veterinary Surgeons. These comprise of other general practitioners and certificate holders and visiting specialists in ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging.​

Information about the hospital. 

CT,  2 sterile theatres, dental suite with DR radiography, imaging room, ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy kits, laparoscopy kit, separate dog, cat wards and isolation wards. Brand new reception with separate dog & cat waiting areas.

This is a part time role working 3 days a week with 1:4 Saturdays and 1:8 Sundays.
