The role:

New exciting opportunity arisen for two experienced vets who are looking for good work-life balance!

We are looking for a vet to complete our team in Beckenham 24h hospital, who would work 7 day on/14 day off pattern.

This part time rota allows a fantastic work life balance, the  two week block ‘off’ allows our vets to pursue other opportunities if they wish – such as further study, a different aspect of clinical practice, diversification into a different field  or to have a good balance between work and family/leisure time. The position is also well suited to someone that wishes to live abroad and travel once a month for work.

There is a very interesting and varied caseload, ideal for a certificate holder or someone wanting to, or currently studying towards a post graduate certificate. Certificate study is fully supported.

The hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray, including dental, high quality ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment, full inhouse laboratory- including coagulation machine, lactate and blood gas analyser. There are separate cat and dog wards and the ability to perform high quality medicine and care for critical patients.

The day team is supported by a lovely team of nurses and receptionists.

The ideal candidate will be confident both medically and surgically, have great communication skills.

Based in the leafy and sought-after Beckenham area in South East London, the practice is just a 5-minute walk from Beckenham junction train and tram station. Beckenham has a great high street with several coffee shops brunch spots and restaurants, all just a short walk from the practice.

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees covered, alongside CPD , Car and accommodation allowances are part of a generous package for the right candidates!
