The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Warrington.

We are looking for a Vet who has a bias towards feline medicine and surgery who can help push the clinic to reach its full potential! The practice has a separate cat clinic with fantastic facilities, all cat-friendly. This role will have a mixed case load of all small animals but we hope with time as the cat clinic grows this role will evolve.

The role would suit a vet who enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice. The successful candidate would need to have exceptional communication skills and enjoy dealing with clients. In return we would offer an attractive salary and benefits package.

This role is full time working 39 hours per week over 4 days giving you a great work/home life balance. Weekends will be 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full.

Salary dependent on experience

Accommodation allowance £6,600

Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500

CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave

RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Skills and experience:

RCVS registration and ideally more than 2yrs UK experience


Warrington practice is well equipped with ultrasound, radiography, in house laboratory, laparoscopy and a separate cat clinic comprising of reception, waiting room, consults rooms, ward and a theatre.

You will be working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, a Head Nurse and a team of amazing support staff.

The practice also has access to our Alder 24hr hospital allowing easy access for CT scans and out of hours care.
