Veterinary Surgeon - 4 day week

Parkside Veterinary Centre is an independent and well-established practice in Carshalton Surrey, and we are seeking a competent and friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join us on a permanent basis. The practice offers a great team to work alongside with a fantastic work/life balance

The role is full time, 40 hour 4 day week, comprising of 2 shifts of 8am to 5pm Theatre and 9am to 7pm Consults, with the last consult at 6.30 to finish at 7pm. Plus 1 Saturday in 3, the practice is closed Sundays and Bank holidays. No OOH, No on call. Diverse Caseload.

The practice is conveniently based for quick commute to Central London via London transport, we are a team of 7 full time vets, 7 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager, 2 Receptionist, 3 Student VN’s, and 2 Auxiliary’s. We have 2 sterile operating theatres, 1 dental theatre, 1 diagnostic theater with digital x-ray and ultrasound, separate dog and cat ward and separate isolation ward, Full in house lab. We also have digital dental x-rays, 3 multiparameter monitors and 2 pulse ox machines for wards. Oxygen kennels in both dog and cat wards. Ultrasound machine, plus much more. Newly refurbished purpose-built practice.

We actively encourage further development, and offer a great Annual CPD allowance, RCVS and Insurance fees paid.
