We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at our Folkestone Sandgate Hill practice.

Sandgate has an immaculate beach which has enough room for families, couples or anyone who wants to enjoy the views or the sunshine.

The Folkestone and Sandgate have two of the best places to send your children for a good education.

Sandgate has a small High Street, there isn't a chain store in sight.

Instead, it has furniture shops a barbers, restaurants, pubs, newsagents and antiques shops.

The successful candidate will be a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) small animal experience who practices to a very high standard using an evidence based approach. 

This role covers 39 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing a great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.

Salary & Benefits:

A very competitive package of up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance.

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave per annum or pro-rata and in-house CPD training

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' UK (or UK equivalent) veterinary experience.
