Job Details
We are a small, friendly, independent companion animal practice In Fleetwood, Lancashire, five minutes walk from the beach.
We are Looking for an enthusiastic part or full-time veterinary surgeon to expand our current team.
The right candidate is thorough and keen to work up cases, has excellent communication skills and wants to build relationships with clients. Our practice is built on excellent service, communication and compassionate care for our clients and patients. We aim to provide high quality medicine in a community focused practice.
• 15 minute consultations and no out of hours.
• Four day week if full time with some sole charge.
• Weekday appointments from 9.15-18.15pm.
• 5 weeks annual holiday
• RCVS and VDS fees included.
• In house CPD and case discussion time
We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and a well equipped lab with a wide range of diagnostic tools. CPD encouraged and funded around individual interests.

Professional Interests
Of course we pride ourselves on our professional expertise too. We have experienced vets with particular interests and expertise in treating skin conditions (dermatology) and parasites – eg fleas and worms – and in treating cats.
RCVS Approved Vet Nurse Training Centre
We are committed to helping young people who want to join us in caring for pets.
We are a RCVS Accredited Vet Nurse Training Practice – an Approved Training Centre for specialist Veterinary Nurses.
At the moment we have one trainee vet nurse, Peri, who is studying and training hard – she’s doing really well, while Jo has recently graduated through the scheme.
Being Part Of Our Local Community
We are committed to helping support our local community here in Fleetwood and we decided the best way for us as vets to do just that, is by supporting re-homing for cats.
