The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join Medivet Stanstead Abbotts.

Stanstead Abbotts is part of the Enfield region within Medivet and works closely with our Enfield 24 hour hospital. Our 24 hour hospital provides the out of hours and in-patient care for our practice. 

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and are confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. You must be confident working sole charge, with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. The role will involve consulting, surgery as well as taking part in the on-call rota - average 2 weeks on-call per year. 

The role is part time working 3 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 Saturdays and Sundays

-Very competitive salary
-£10,200 accommodation allowance per annum (FTE)
-Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum (FTE)
-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum (FTE)
-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (FTE)

Marta holds a special interest in treating heart disease, internal medicine and preventative medicine. Our friendly and close-knit team are committed to providing truly exceptional care.
