The Role
Alma Veterinary Hospital have a great opportunity for a Clinical Director to join the team at our recently refurbished Hospital in Windsor. In addition to clinical work, you would be involved in decisions regarding clinical protocols and governance, development of the business and veterinary team, veterinary surgeon appraisals and continuing to encourage our wonderful team to provide the best standard of veterinary and client care possible.
Salary up to £75,000 per year with a generous relocations allowance, a performance related bonus scheme up to £15,000 and extensive benefits.
IVC provide a generous Clinical CPD budget, alongside the possibility of a 2-week IVC CD Leadership and Development training course. Regular quarterly CD/PM meetings are held and in addition, regular Clinical Board, Marketing and Financial updates.

Our hospital is conveniently located in the royal town of Windsor, which has excellent transport links, to London the M25/ M4 /M3 and Heathrow. We are extremely lucky that our town provides the perfect combination of town and country, offering a great selection of shops, country walks/activities and a large selection of lovely restaurants and bars.
We are a well are equipped, recently refurbished Hospital with digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, laparoscopy, bronchoscope, videoscope, fully equipped laboratory, capnography, a dental suite with dental x-ray, a fully equipped operating theatre, an imaging room and 4 consulting rooms, with all the normal necessities for a first opinion Hospital. We have a separate dog and cat wards and waiting rooms to help minimise stress to our patients. We have a range of loyal clientele, which brings with it a wide and varying caseload. Many of our clients are insured which offers great opportunity to work to the gold standard of care we all strive for.
We take huge pride in our team and consider them to be a vital part of what makes us a great practice. We believe discussing cases and sharing opinions extremely important and actively encourage openness and teamwork, but also give Vets the freedom to work up their own cases as they see fit.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants should have extensive experience in both a surgical and medical caseload with a desire to mentor others and lead by example. You should be motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated, have great communication skills and strive for clinical excellence. Commitment to the practice is important, and proven ability to work as part of a team.
You would be working alongside our experienced Senior RVN’s, and IVC Business Support Manager. Therefore, this role would suit either a candidate with management/ leadership experience, or someone completely new to a management role.
