The Park Vet Group are a group of small animal practices that have been serving Leicester and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. 

Our surgeries are based in Glenfield Whetstone and Saffron Lane.

We provide routine primary care services for small animals at our Glenfield hospital and  also have a referral interests in, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, small animal surgery and a dedicated emergency hospital service, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year

Your role and responsibilities

We are currently looking for an organised, dedicated  Lead RVN with at least three years’ experience primarily with a track record and interest in organising and leading Nurses for our Saffron Lane site.. . We are looking for someone who is confident in the front line dealing with clients and their pets, with an interest in supporting a first opinion case load and nurse consulting

This position will involve you leading the nurse team at Saffron Lane.  You will be running nurse clinics, organising branch RVN rotas , mentoring and supporting  branch RVNs and Student RVNs. You will be required to assist Vets with surgeries/anaesthesia , reporting to our Group Nursing Manager ensuring a high level of patient care is delivered. Keeping an open and friendly channel of communication with clients . Weekends working is on a rota and based at the Glenfield Hospital
