Job Details

Your role will be to assist clients develop pet travel plans for both importing and exporting their pets to and from the UK. High energy and vibrant attitude with a growing pet travel company. You will be responsible for client and agent engagement with our global network, develop veterinary plans and ensure client pets are ready for travel. This is a demanding role and a high level of communication skills and attention to detail is required.

Wonderful team atmosphere in a non-clinical role to help foster client growth, agent relationships and assist clients with their pet travel moves internationally.

The Role

Your role will be to help clients manage their export and import process for their pets.

An office based, non-clinical role in a growing team based in London Heathrow, UK.

Exporting and importing pets requires a high level of attention to detail to develop pet travel management plans to assist clients meet their deadlines for pet travel.

Candidates will be providing quotes for pet travel direct to clients and also to agents internationally, and then work to assist the clients to meet the travel requirements for international travel.  This is both an import and export role where successful clients will work in both fields to help pet relocations.

This requires the candidate to understand pets, and basic pet travel requirements including develop and understanding for international veterinary protocols, liaise with vets and clients to develop vet plans to meet the requirements, book flights and understand all the airline documentation for freight forwarding including air waybills, customs clearance processes, and facilitate permits, approvals, and shipping documentation.

Successful Candidate

High attention to detail and excellent work ethic to complete projects and see through to end.

Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong computer skills favourable.

Competent in excel and word, and to develop a strong understanding of software packages to process freight bookings with airlines and customs clearances for imported pets.

Strong focus on client development and building relationships with agents internationally and their pet travel clients.

Driving is required from time to time and manual licence preferred.


Happy, friendly, high work ethic and willing to be part of a team that works together – this will include ad hoc weekend and out of hours work as pet travel and global relationships extend 24/7/365.

Ability to work alone on your projects, with all the help needed from a team for reference and require strong organisational skills to ensure complete and successful journeys for pets and their clients.

The Package

•    Starting salary £25,000 - £29,999
•    PERMANENT FULL TIME ROLE – OFFICE BASED – DRIVING ESSENTIAL          due to location and occasional operational need

Higher if you have skills in the field already.
Growth and performance will see reviewed at 3 months and then annually.
Career progression is important and available to grow into management roles in future.
