The Role

We have an exciting opportunity in our busy first opinion small animal practice for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Rowe Veterinary Group. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week including 1:6 weekends at our hospital with time off in lieu. Working between 7.30am-7:00pm on a rota basis. At Rowe we pride ourselves in investing in our team, your CPD options are vast and we support out team with the opportunity to complete a certificate. This is an excellent position for a Veterinary Nurse that is wanting to expand their knowledge and progress.

The Salary is up to £27,000 DOE

About Us
The Rowe Veterinary Group was founded in 1948 by Mr John Rowe. We now have four veterinary practices in the North Bristol area, with a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke, branch surgeries in Yate and Thornbury, and a veterinary surgery and MRI facility based in Wotton-under-Edge. As well as providing a high quality first opinion practice for dogs, cats, small furries, birds and exotic animals, we are home to a referral service: Rowe Referrals.

We are always there to take care of your pet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You will be joining an experienced and supportive team of 8 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVN's and 2 VCAs. Our clinical team hold qualifications and interests in a wide range of different aspects such as medicine, cardiology, dermatology, surgery and anaesthesia. We also offer a range of different nurse clinics including cat specific clinics, K-Laser therapy and arthritis management. We are a forward thinking, evidenced based practice that strive in career development and training.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for someone who strives for clinical excellence, client and patient care and is a great team player. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge in anaesthesia, client consultations and an ability to demonstrate their knowledge learned in practice.
