We are seeking a part time or full time Veterinary Surgeon to work alongside our fantastic team at our Low Fell practice. This position would suit a vet with a consulting bias however there will be an opportunity for surgical cases at our hospital. We are flexible around hours therefore part time or full time hours will both be considered to suit your individual needs, we are here to find the right balance for you!
As qualified MRCVS, you will already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You will be competent in clinical examination and surgery, and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
Salary Package up to £50,000 per annum (FTE)
5 weeks' annual leave
4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
Medivet Low Fell is a well equipped practice compromising of 2 consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a spacious waiting room, and large prep area and theatre.
There is access to in house lab equipment with up-to-date analysers and external lab support and services.
