The Role

Here at Station Veterinary Surgery Kilmarnock, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. This is a full-time position however part time would also be considered. The role entails carrying out consultations and surgery. The hours will be 40 hours per week worked over 4 days and the shift pattern would be 8.30am until 7.30pm but this is flexible. Some Saturday mornings will be required (currently 1 in 4, 8.30am until 12.30pm). There are no out of hours.

About Us
We are a 100% small animal practice located in Kilmarnock, Central Scotland. Kilmarnock is within commuting distance of both Glasgow and the Ayrshire coast. We currently have one full time Vet and two part time Vets, with another full time Vet currently on maternity leave. We also have two full time Registered Veterinary Nurses and an ACA. We have a dental suite, digital xray, a modern ultrasound machine and in house Idexx laboratory. We are a small friendly team who work well together.

Applicant Requirements
The preferred candidate would be a highly motivated small animal Veterinary Surgeon with experience in a similar setting. They must be registered with the RCVS.
