We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse at our Wotton-under-Edge surgery and MRI Centre, situated 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M5 with easy access to Bristol. We are a friendly, supportive team working to a high clinical standard. This is a busy first opinion and referral practice, which sees a variety of interesting cases. Duties are varied and include assisting with surgical and dental procedures, nurse clinics, MRI anaesthetics and assisting with our feline radioactive iodine unit. We are looking for someone who strives for clinical excellence, client and patient care, has a passion to do things right clinically and importantly is a great team player. Salaray range £21,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
You would be joining a friendly and motivated team and this role would suit an experienced or a newly qualified RVN who enjoys something different every day. Our nurses work a 5 day week with a variety of shift patterns from 7.45AM to 7PM. You will participate in a 1:6 weekend rota at our Bradley Stoke Hospital, working Saturday and Sunday receiving time off in lieu for the shifts worked. We are keen to be flexible to find the right candidate and can offer hours and rota to suit. You will work alongside a dedicated team of 3 Nurses, 2 Veterinary Surgeons and our dedicated imager.
Applicant Requirements The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is looking to take the next step into their management career, possesses the ability the guide and help build their team whilst working closely with the Head Nurse. This role will require the candidate to take on extra responsibilities and provide leadership when needed. This candidate will already be a role model within their teams and will be able to demonstrate the criteria required.
