We are currently looking for an out of hours on call veterinary surgeon to join our team at Castle Veterinary Group in Castlewellan, Northern Ireland.

Working on a variety of ECC caseloads when on call to cover Out of hours work at Castlewellan and Downpatrick branches and will be in sole charge working on the farm and small animal emergencies.
 
Rota
7 nights on (on call) 7 nights off
On call hours 6:30pm-8am
 
Salary
Up to £55,000 negotiable DOE
Welcome bonus of up to £1,500
Relocation package of up to £5,000
 
About us
We are a modern RCVS accredited Tier 2, purpose built two centre mixed practice with state-of-the art premises based at the foothills of the beautiful Mourne Mountains and only 30 minutes from Belfast and 90 minutes to Dublin. We have been established for over 25 years providing 24-hour emergency services to our clients. Our practice currently has 9 vets, supported by a team of both Registered and Trainee Nurses, Receptionists and Support staff across our 2 clinics. Our surgery facilities include all the usual: in-house labs, digital x-ray, ultrasound ECG and full orthopaedic equipment. We are also an approved Veterinary Nurse training practice.
 
Candidate requirements
Must be RCVS registered, confident with sole charge and ECC work mainly within farm and small animal caseloads, must have driving licence as company van will be provided. Offsite accommodation is also available.
