Registered Veterinary Nurse (Full Time) - Ashford

An exciting opportunity to join our family. Our nurses are all qualified RVN’s we have 8 RVNS 1 SVN and a PCA who is starting her nurse training in January.  We need an experienced, enthusiastic, passionate, dedicated nurse with bundles of enthusiasm and knowledge to join our team at the main hospital in Ashford. 

We have 5 full time and 1 part time vets, the nurses are in charge of organising the theatre list, run busy nurse clinics and make sure the vets are on time!  We are committed to help you unleash your nursing potential and fully support your learning and development. 

Our friendly hospital is a busy fast paced branch with a large diverse caseload with plenty of opportunity to practice your nursing skills.  We have dedicated client care team on reception making sure that everything runs smoothly and deliver a happy welcome to any client coming through the door.  We previously ran puppy parties and it would be lovely to have a candidate interested in helping re start these!

We have a separate cat ward – away from those noisy hounds and a large dog ward which is the hub of the practice!, so in-patients have regular contact and stimulation from our team! We are gold member for ISFM, RCVS accredited with 2 awards and aiming for many more!

Shift patterns vary day to day, no OOH!! Vets Now are our ooh provider and run from inside our very own Ashford Hospital so no need to transfer your patients from one branch to another.    The position is for 5 days per week 2 in 9 Saturday shift and 8.5 hour shifts.
