Company

The Barn Animal Hospital is independently owned and managed by local Veterinary Surgeon Alan Krasno. The veterinary practice was started by Alan and his wife Shelagh in The Street Old Basing back in 1982. When it outgrew the premises it moved to a new purpose built hospital on the edge of Old Basing on Great Binfields Road.

From moving in on April 2001 the Hospital as been awarded the category of Small Animal Veterinary Hospital by the governing body The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. They judge veterinary practices on such criteria as operating equipment, staff training and expertise, cleanliness and efficiency. Beyond these requirements The Barn aims to provide both excellence in Veterinary care and the most caring of Veterinary staff, Vets and nurses. Every year we aim higher and acquire new skills and new equipment so as to continue to provide the best care possible.
