With huge financial investment and practice refurbishments within our Edinburgh based practice, we are looking for an individual who can invest just as much into leading our people and veterinary business in the capital.  

The role you will play:  You will be the clinical lead for our veterinary practice within Edinburgh, West End Vets. We are looking for someone to support the continued growth and development of clinical excellence and patient care and the role you play will be vital in us achieving this. We have huge potential and you will be part of moulding our future!  Exciting! You will be our people leader and be able to demonstrate strong management skills and multi-site experience. Your role will include promoting best practice and client care, line management of a clinical team, setting and implementing practice budgets, create and maintain a positive image and outlook within our teams and to the outer community, recruitment and retention (with the help and support with some of our colleagues within our Group).

Meet the team:  You will work alongside a Head Vet and Practice Manager who are supported by a fantastic team of vets, nurses, patient care assistants and receptionists.

 The practice: West End Vets is a three branch small animal practice including a main branch. We treat small animals and have a strong client base. Our main surgery is in Tollcross with additional branches in Morningside and Davidsons Mains.

Candidate requirements: You will be a confident experienced Leader within the Veterinary industry.  You will be an excellent communicator and have the aptitude and desire to manage and lead a high performing veterinary team. You will thrive on positive interactions with your people and our clients.
