The Role
We have an opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team in our design award winning facilities at Copeland Vets. This role will entail general nursing duties, including puppy/kitten nurse clinics, weigh clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in surgical procedures, blood sampling, placing of intravenous cannulas, post op Nurse clinics and patient care. This position consists of 38hrs per week over 4.5 days, shift pattern varies weekly. 1:5 Saturday mornings and 1 half day shift a week. There are no OOH with this post.

These include: digital xray, orthopaedics, Doppler ultrasound machine, blood pressure monitoring, Inhouse biochemistry, haematology and endocrine machines, as well as endoscopy to name a few. We are conveniently located near the beautiful North York Moors and the seaside, Ingleby Barwick is Europe’s largest private housing estate.
We are a friendly team committed to providing excellent standards of care to our clients. You would be joining a team of 7 RVNs, 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 VCSs and 4 receptionists.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication skills and a passion for general nursing. There is ample scope to expand on your current skillsets and contribute to the team in a fully supported environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who demonstrates clinical experience, high standards of veterinary care and has an interest in learning.
