Riversmeet Veterinary Centre, established over 100 years ago, is a small animal, primary care practice on the border of Staffordshire and Warwickshire, with sites in Tamworth and Atherstone.
We provide routine primary care services including orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart and skin treatments, arthritis management and cancer treatment. We offer referral services in ophthalmology and surgery.
The Riversmeet team members have their own areas of special interest allowing them to provide a high standard of clinical care to clients and patients.
We are a closely knit, established team, with majority of the vets having 5 – 25 years’ experience!
Due to continued success, we are looking for another 2 veterinary surgeons to join our team. We currently have 9 veterinary surgeons, including certificate holders, and encourage and support all of our surgeons to enrol in a certificate of interest.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week over an 8 week rota (one mid-week day off every week; 5 Saturdays off every eight weeks; 2 x Saturday morning week 6 & 7, full weekend week 8 (Sat 8.30 -5pm & Sun 9.30-4.30pm) with the Monday off after your weekend as well as your week day off).
There are no out of hours or on call.
You will have a set day off each week, at least one surgical day, and you will have 2 days off the week following the Sunday you have worked. We strive for that important work-life balance for all our associates.
We are part of Linnaeus, which is a vibrant community of veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland. Linnaeus works across a range of areas within veterinary medicine from small animal to farm and equine. All our practices are individual but two important things bring us together; a commitment to excellence in everything we do and our passion to make A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.
We demonstrate excellence in everything we do for the associate, client and pet and our mission is to be recognised as the leading veterinary provider for all pets and animals across the UK.
