Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Registered Veterinary Nurse?

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual with a strong passion for animal care and welfare to join us as a Mobile Registered Veterinary Nurse who will support our Faversham region.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

The successful nurse will become a Clinical Coach for our student veterinary nurses and Patient Care Assistants in the practices that they will support. Therefore, ideal candidates will have some experience in clinical coaching and/or providing mentorship.

This role covers 40 hours a week. There is a fair share of weekends included in the shift pattern for this role.

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.

As this is a mobile role, a full driver's licence is essential.

Medivet Faversham, formerly known as Toachim House Veterinary Surgery, is a well-established practice that boasts many successes, such as carrying out a 3D printed partial jaw replacement. The team at Medivet Faversham consists of Veterinary Surgeons and a large nursing team. The soon to be 24-hour centre offers a range of services, including Orthopaedics, ECG, Endoscopy, ECG, operating theatre, ultrasound, dentist equipment and x-rays.

Faversham is the oldest market town in Kent, bursting with history and places to visit. Faversham train station and the B2040 are both a short distance from the hospital, making it easy to commute back and forth. The market is only a short distance from the practice and has lots of stalls and places to eat on your lunch break.
