Job Details

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse or final year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Biggleswade. 

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a team of nursing staff including Head Veterinary Nurse, Student Veterinary Nurse and Patient Care Assistants.

The position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. Previous clinical coaching experience would be desirable.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, however part time and flexible working requirements will be considered.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £24,565 per annum, dependent on experience

Branch:

Medivet Biggleswade is a busy small animal first opinion practice which offers a wide range of complex diagnostic equipment and treatment options including endoscopy, laser, ultrasound, as well as access to laparoscopic spays, MRI and CT imaging.

We are fortunate to have a lovely client base who are very willing to go the extra mile when it comes to their pets. Our 2-3 vet team are therefore kept busy with an exciting range of surgeries and consults.
