Veterinary Surgeon - Frome, Somerset

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Medicine and Orthopaedics to join our Small Animal Team. We are situated in beautiful countryside, near Frome, on the borders of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset, and which was listed in 2021 and ‘The best place to live in the South West’ by The Sunday Times.

We have been established since 2006 and have a very well-equipped practice with DR x-ray, a brand new, high quality ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, Multiparameter Unit, Tonometry, Laser, Orthopaedic Kit and much more. Our team of Vets, Nurses and Student Nurses, offer ‘in house’ hospitalisation allowing for convenient and better continuity of care for our patients and owners.

Enjoy a good wor-lLife balance with a 4-day week, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off. On call is required 1 night per week and 1 in 4 Weekends. A CPD allowance is provided and Certificate qualifications are encouraged and funded.
