An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established Ashby region supporting all six branches - Ashby, Scunthorpe, Brigg, Bottesford, Epworth & Crowle. 

We strive to provide friendly and personal care to our patients and offer a comprehensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities to ensure the highest levels of care are provided to our patients.

We have an excellent team and aim to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and patients. This role will be working as part of a team that supports in theatre, provides inpatient care and carries out consults, admissions and discharges.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and be happy to get stuck in wherever needed. You will see a wider range of cases whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders. This is a great opportunity to see how different teams work within the region and gain valuable experience.

The role is full-time, working 40 hours per week with 1:6 weekends, however flexible working requirements will also be considered to suit your individual needs.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary £27,000- £29,000 PA.

Scunthorpe is located in North Lincolnshire just off the M180 and M18 motorways allowing easy transport links to the Lincolnshire Wolds,Hull, Doncaster, Lincoln and York. It is a bustling town with restaurants, cinema, shopping parks and many other activities.

For those who enjoy country air and long walks, Scunthorpe is a stones throw away from the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds which is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the highest land between Kent and Yorkshire. In the Wold there are many quaint market villages with plenty of independent shops and history to explore.

To the East there is the popular seaside resort of Cleethorpes with many traditional seaside restaurants and activities, the boating lake, The Jungle Zoo and Cleethorpes Light Railway.
