- Pet Practice
Friendly & professional growing, family owned, group of nine practices
At Pet Practice we are an exciting, independent, growing veterinary group that’s been giving a fresh look to working in the veterinary sector for the past twelve years now. We are not a corporate focused on profit to the detriment of its clients and staff. With nine practices neither are we a small independent at risk from competition or takeover. We have the security of being a sizeable veterinary group but with the benefits and personal touch of being family owned. Independent is what we love and how we will remain. We do not lock our staff into working for us under the premise of joint venture and other hidden restrictions. At Pet Practice we lead the way in the packages we offer our staff and are proud that all the income we earn as a team is invested back into our staff and the facilities they work in. We’ve led the way in the salaries we offer, led the way in the holiday our nurses and vets can take at up to six weeks per annum and schedule major refits on all our clinics every ten years to keep them fresh. Whilst an ongoing schedule of investment is of paramount importance to us we continue to grow alongside this having added three new practices to our group during the bumpy last eighteen months.
Our staff’s loyalty is built around mutual respect and working with your requirements to create a job role that is right for you. No on-call and flexible rotas ensure your work life balance leaves you fresh and enthusiastic. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic we have proved ourselves to be a safe, efficient and reliable business that has continued to grow by caring for both its staff and patients. Our Salisbury Vacancy:
Our Salisbury surgery has been open for a few years now and continues to grow at an impressive rate with new client registrations every day. It has all the facilities you would expect of a modern practice including digital radiography, ultrasonography, an Idexx in-house integrated laboratory and dedicated surgical facilities for both our use and that of our visiting orthopaedic surgeon.
We’ve tragically lost our great lead clinician Anne to a sporting injury. As a result we need a dynamic, experienced vet to come on board and continue Salisbury’s journey. Working alongside our Salisbury vet Lisa and visiting orthopaedic surgeon Andy it is initially a sole-charge position. With this role filled, to allow any further expansion, we will then recruit a junior vet to make the three vet team. There is always plenty of support from our fifteen surgeons and fifty staff across the group. To allow room for this expansion Salisbury has significant investment in the form of a complete refit and extension scheduled to start in January for two months. This means the successful candidate will be joining a completely revamped surgery.
