We are recruiting for a veterinary surgeon to work alongside our fantastic team at our Hucknall practice.
This practice, close to the peak district and Nottingham city, is a perfect opportunity for a veterinary surgeon who would like to expand their skillset and experience alongside being a key player in helping the practice develop and grow.
General duties will include: consulting and associated skills (listening, empathising, summarising) routine surgery, lifting and moving animals, handling drugs and chemotherapeutic agents, possible shared on-call duties, team leadership and team management, telephone advice, data entry and fee charging.
This is a full or part-time role working 4 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends and an on-call rota that is shared out equally.

- Salary package up to £60,000 PA.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues and clients.
Further education and development of colleagues is actively encouraged and certificates can be supported for the successful candidate.
You must be a Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS.
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK. With current Covid19 regulations we will offer relocation and quarantine support entering the UK.
