Veterinary Surgeon required at Pool Farm Vets, Betley, Crewe

The Role
​Small animal and equine vet wanted! We are looking for a forward thinking-friendly vet who can provide excellent patient care and is a good communicator. We would like someone to work between 2 and 4 days per week. Saturday morning surgery is done on a 1 in 4 rota. Equine out of hours is on a 1 in 4 rota, our small animal out of hours is provided by Vets Now. Salary is between £30,000 to £45,000 FTE depending on experience.

About Us
Pool farm is set in the beautiful village of Betley on the Cheshire/Staffordshire/Shropshire border. We have a great group of 5 vets, 4 RVN's, 2 SVN's and 4 lovely ladies in the support team. Our facilities include in-house Idexx lab, endoscopes, laparoscopic equipment, floating radiography table, infusion and drip pumps, air-conditioning throughout the practice, multi-parameter monitors including capnography for each anaesthesia station, blood gas monitors, separate isolation unit. For equine visits we have mobile radiography, mobile ultrasound and separate reproduction scanner and a portable endoscope to name but a few.

About the Team and Culture
We have 2 certificate holders and so medicine and surgery are practiced to a very high standard as a result of our ​approachable​ experience​d​ ​team​ we are able to offer a recent graduate the required support if they were to apply for the role.

The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills and be able to offer excellent patient care. You must be able to work well as part of a team.
