We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team at our Camberwell 24-Hour Hospital. 

The successful candidate will be joining a day / night team made up of seven vets with certificate holders in small animal surgery, endosurgery and internal medicine, eight nurses including SVN and PCA and reception team.

The hospital has a mixed caseload, currently seeing first opinion cases and referrals from our nine surrounding clinics.

As an experienced RVN, you can even help shape the next generation as a Clinical Coach, using your knowledge and skills to help train and support nurses of the future.

Salary and hours: 

  • Salary up to 28,295 per annum, depending on experience (includes London weighting) 
  • £300 CPD allowance with 2 days CPD leave 
  • RCVS, VDS and BVNA membership fees
  • 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Hours are 40 per week with 1 in 4 weekends
  • Fair share of bank holiday cover with time back in lieu
  • Minimal on-call duties to support our dedicated night team, if required

Situated in South East London, Medivet Camberwell is a bright and spacious, excellently equipped clinic with CT, digital x-ray, laparoscopic stack system, dental x-ray full in-house lab, sterrad sterilisation, ultrasound, separate dog and cat wards, isolation and two operating rooms.

Here, you can enjoy a purpose-built hospital which is only a few years old, providing a fantastic modern space to work in! There is also a lovely big staff area for lunches and shower room for those of you who wish to cycle to work or freshen up after your shift.
