We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeons to come and join our friendly and vibrant team at both Hartlepool and Catterick Vets4Pets. We welcome all levels of experience.  

Our Hartlepool practice is led by owners Kathryn Green and Joanne Ciavarella, with Joanne also being the owner of Catterick Vets4Pets and they are supported by an excellent team of Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and Non-clinical staff at each practice.

We are located in the vibrant seaside town of Hartlepool with great transport links. 30 minutes Teesside Airport, 45 minutes - Newcastle airport, 1 hour from Leeds/Bradford airport. As an experienced practice of welcoming overseas vet surgeons, we are on hand to help with housing, bank accounts, NI Numbers, driver’s licenses and personally overseeing the full settling in process as we understand how frightening it can be to leave family, friends and start in a new country.

Both practice owners have a wealth of experience in both mixed and small animal practice and are keen to share their knowledge and build a team with as many areas of interest as possible. We want you to know that we are a family orientated and friendly team who have genuine empathy for our patients. We are happy to support you and you will play a key role in our professional enthusiastic team.
 
By joining us you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.

We offer a great teaching service which includes a mixture of consults and operating, this one to one training can help all experience levels advance in their veterinary careers.

We're looking for vets to ideally work 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only, however we will consider part time vets and flexible working hours. There are no OOH requirements and occasional sole charge.

The successful candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct basic consultations and perform routine surgeries such as neutering, dental work, lumpectomies, etc.
