Veterinary Surgeon

The Role

We are looking for an out of hours small animal veterinary surgeon to provide weekend cover within 3 veterinary practices. The position will be Friday evening through to Monday morning, working a total of 26 weekends a year. You must be capable of being in sole charge. Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience. We would be willing to pay/arrange accommodation for the right candidate.

About Us

The 3 veterinary practices (Coleraine Veterinary Practice, Knockanboy Veterinary Clinic and Millburn Veterinary Practice) are located near the popular North Coast with beautiful beaches and famous landmarks such as the Giants Causeway and Carrickarede Rope Bridge. You will be working in a well-equipped clinic, with digital x-ray, small animal ultrasound scanner, haematology and biochemistry machines etc.

Across the 3 practices we have approximately 16 Vets, supported by a strong team of both Registered and Trainee Nurses, Receptionists and Support staff. We are a very friendly team who pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care to all our clients and their pets, and a positive, and supportive workplace for our staff.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable veterinary surgeon, with a strong focus on client care. We are asking for a competent and motivated person who is capable of being in sole charge to join our team. Must be RCVS registered and qualified.
