Seasonal Foal Internship
Rossdales Equine Hospital is seeking an Intern to join the team working in our Equine Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the 2022 foal season, from mid-January to mid-July 2022. This specialist unit provides high level intensive care to sick, neonatal foals, including mechanical ventilation, total parenteral nutrition and cardiovascular support.
The successful applicant will have primary responsibility for the administration of treatments and all aspects of neonatal care. Assistance with the care of adult medical cases may also be required. The role will be overseen by our team of four internal medicine diplomates.
This position will suit a recent graduate. Experience of neonatal care is desirable but not essential.
