Veterinary Surgeon

Join our team of Mobile Veterinary Surgeons in North West London where you can work for 1 week, leaving you the other 3 weeks free to focus on other things.

As a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon you will work in a group of clinics covering holidays, days off and CPD days.

Although you will need to be comfortable working sole charge, even when you do, you will have the support of your neighbouring clinics who can provide advice and assist you with any work you are unfamiliar with.

Our 10-vet hospital team at Medivet Hendon is always available to help you work up and care for complex cases and can provide diagnostic ultrasound, CT, MRI and complex and orthopaedic surgery for your patients.

Salary and hours: 

You will work for 1 week of the month, with the following 3 weeks off. If you find you don’t have plans, you can choose to earn extra money by working additional shifts in your time off.

Hours: 09:00-19:00 - average of 15.75 per week - No on-call or OOH!

Skills and experience:

Applicants should have 2+ years experience and be comfortable working sole charge. You must have excellent communication skills, competent in spays and castrates.

Here you will have the chance of working in the clinics of our lovely Hendon region in North West London, just a short drive away from our 24-Hour Hendon Hospital. 

Here, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment. It houses a MRI/CT unit and treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases. Plus endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods.

Hendon manages all out of hour care for the region with a dedicated night team. And, the group is supported by it's own pet blood bank and laboratory.
