The Practice

We have a huge range of experience, expertise, and personalities within our team, ranging from a vet qualified for over 32 years to our most recent veterinary care assistant, who all work together with mutual respect.

Our cases – we refer very little so there’s always the opportunity to work cases up to a high standard.

Our kit – we’ve lots of modern kit – scopes galore, multimodal monitors, ultrasound and ECHO, in house lab – haematology, biochemistry, SNAP and urine machines, ECG machine, dental X-ray generator and much more besides.

The Role

We’re looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to work a 40 hour week to a shift pattern created by our own team for during Covid but was so popular we have kept in place:

8am – 4.30pm
11am – 7.30pm
12pm – 7.30pm
Saturdays 8.30am – 1.30pm

1 week in every 6 weeks on in-patient care for the week, including Saturday morning surgery and in-patient duty for the weekend, and 1 further Saturday in every 6 weeks.

Summary: 2 Saturday mornings in 6 weeks; 3 early shifts and 3 late shifts.

You will be working with our clients to provide high quality care for their pets and providing them with appropriate and accurate information based on their individual circumstances to make the best decisions for their pet’s treatment.

Successful Candidate

We are looking for a clinician with 2 years’ experience who has an interest in ultrasound/ECHO/imaging. We would also be delighted to support a certificate in this for the right candidate.

You would be a team player who is adaptable to fit into our culture and is able to confidently engage with both our team members and our clients. 

The Package

Salary range £30k- £50k depending on experience

CPD - £1,000 + vat per annum additional support for a certificate if desired.
