Veterinary Surgeon required at Bell & Partners, Wyken, Coventry

The Role 

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and encouraging team at Bell and Partners on a permanent basis. The opportunity is available for a management role should you be looking for development and progression. You would be working a 4-day week, 1: 3 Saturdays and no OOH. We are open to considering part time applications as well as our specified full-time role.

Bell and Partners urge a varied day with it typically consisting of both consultations and operations. We are 100% small animal, treating mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional small furry and feathered pet too. One thing we do ask is that you have experience in small animal surgery, especially routine operations: neutering, dental descale and extractions, lump removals etc.

About Us

Based on the outskirts of Coventry, now known as the city of culture in the UK, you have the city close by as well as plenty of green space local to the practice. Our team of vets is headed by Ross Butler, lead surgeon at Bell & Partners. Ross has been with the practice for many years and has treated countless animals, great and small. 

We have a very supportive and close-knit team at Bell and Partners. All our vets and nurses are passionate about delivering the best possible treatment for the animals brought into their care. We appreciate that every pet's recovery depends not only on the treatment that they receive, but also the care that comes with it. 

We have everything we need to treat client’s animals with the best possible care here at the surgery including excellent facilities X-ray, ultrasound, diagnostic equipment, full dentistry kit and an operating theatre.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

•    Confident

•    Enthusiastic

•    Have strong communication skills

•    Experience in small animal practice

•    A full clean driving licence holder 

•    MRCVS registered
