We are a long established practice having served the Fareham clients for over 70 years. We are a small, friendly and client focused practice setting high standards of care for our patients. The surgery is an RCVS accredited General Practice and nurse training practice.
Our Vets work closely together with a good support network from colleagues and support staff. We are looking for a vet who prides themselves on team work, high standards of care but who enjoys a good fun working environment. Our staff retention is very high at the practice, many of our staff having worked for us for many years.
CPD is encouraged and funded. There is no on call.
The role is 5 days a week plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings but a flexible working pattern for any prospective candidate will be considered. Candidates with any amount of experience are welcome to apply. We have a supportive environment for all staff and very happy to receive applications from new graduates.
The practice has all the usual diagnostic tools; radiography, ultrasound, endoscopes, blood machines, microscopy.
The owner is an active BVLGBT+ member, an open and inclusive employer and will welcome candidates from all minority and diverse groups.
Owned and operated by Peter Heather for the last 20 years, the practice, being privately owned has flexibility to set it's own policies and standards, can adapt quickly and efficiently to new ideas and challenges as they arise. Equally the owner is welcoming and supportive of news ideas and suggestions from the staff on how to do things differently or better.
