Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital, Stroud.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a positive and hardworking Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital. You will join the nursing team in providing excellent patient and client care with day-to-day emphasis on Nurse Clinics working closely with all departments. You will build lasting relationships with clients and their pets, maximising client retention. You will help develop these nurse clinics to include, but not limited to, weight management clinics, senior pet clinics, OA clinics, puppy/kitten clinics, end of life consultations and diabetic clinics as well as see routine post op checks, 2nd vaccinations, triage, microchips, nails clips, flea and worm checks etc. You will also be required to take part in an OOH weekend and bank holiday rota.
Hours are negotiable preferably between 24-40 per week, these can be flexible between the hours of 8am and 8pm on a monthly rota basis. Salary is between £20,000 and £23,000 FTE depending on experience .
Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital is a teaching practice, where nurses are encouraged to provide clinical coaching for our students. We actively support our team in pursuing areas that are of interest to them and offer generously funded CPD.

We work closely together interdepartmentally and support our staff in reaching their career goals. About the Team and Culture
Our fantastic clinical team consists of 10 vets, 14 nurses, 4 VCA’s and students. We are a high standard first opinion team that fully works up medical cases and performs advanced surgical procedures e.g. TTA, perineal urethrostomy and laparoscopic procedures. The hospital is well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, echocardiography and on site lab with brand new biochemistry and haematology machines. The team includes certificate holders and those currently working towards certificates. We are supported by a local referral hospital nearby where CT and advice is readily available
You must be a Registered Veterinary nurse, preferably with clinic nursing experience.
Fantastic communication skills and being able to work under your own initiative is essential as well as a passion for customer care.
