Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Glenbrae Vets, Bearsden.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Glenbrae Vets, Bearsden!

You will join our nursing team to help deliver the best conventional and holistic care to our patients.

Duties will include nursing clinics, surgical and medical nursing, in-house lab work, ensuring the clinic is clean and meets RCVS PSS, Ordering and stock rotation, Supporting veterinary surgeons and client care advisors.
We are looking for someone that can promote the clinic and the services we offer.

It will be a 38-hour week with Saturdays 1:4. Rotas are flexible and you can choose to work your hours over 4 or 5 days. The clinics are all closed on Sundays and there is no out of hours.

About Us

Glenbrae Vets was established in 1990. We take pride in offering integrated conventional and holistic treatments for pets. Our services include homeopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, stem cell therapy Laparoscopic surgery and laser therapy. Our facilities include ultrasound and dental radiography. We have modern well-equipped clinics in Bearsden, Dumbarton and Muirhead.

About the Team and Culture

We have an amazing team of 34 people. We have 10 vets, 7 RVNS, 1 SVNs , 8 CCAs and support staff. Our team values are compassion, professionalism, teamwork, enthusiasm, hard work and honesty. The wellbeing of our team is important to us. We are well known in the area for our support of the local community and have taken part in many events for charity over the years. We have an ultrasonographer that visits once a week. A registered homeopath that is available to see our patients or referrals. We have vets with expertise in dentistry and small furries.

Applicant Requirements

The candidate should have good communication skills. Will be required to make clients feel welcome and assist them with the needs of their pets. We are looking for someone to help promote our clinic and our services. We are looking for a RVN to join our well-established nursing team.
We are looking for someone with a dedication to the profession who is fun and hard working. A team player with good organisational skills.
